This is typically multiple components that are assembled into either an Orthopedic Device or Optical Device used in various operations. These type of devices will consist of components that are assembled and tig welded or laser welded dependent on theapplication and print call out. These devices will go through a lot of inspection and testing to meet the print requirements. Profilumitor checks on finish, pressure and pull tests are all part of the process to validate and approve an assembled device. Also, a lot will go into proper process for identification and rust prevention. We will laser mark for identification on all necessary components and follow up with a extensive cleaning process and then passivation to prevent rust. This happens on components before and after assembly of a device.
