This is all about Medical instruments and devices that need Hex Allen or similar shapes machined to depth. Wether the part is hard (heat treated) or soft we can mill or EDM in the hex feature. The fit can be open to +/-.005 or as tight as a press fit for picking up screws without touching them. We can also fit to gage sizes if desired which is very common.
