Our well-equipped facility houses a broad range of equipment that enables us to significantly reduce the time required for handling, setup, and machining, allowing us to turnaround parts rapidly and at a reasonable cost.
For this project, we utilized our multi-axis Swiss turning machine, as well as precision EDM hole popping equipment to fabricate these dental instruments rapidly and with a high level of accuracy. Manufactured from 13-8 stainless steel to within tight ± 0.001″” tolerances, this part featured dimensions of 1.625″” in length, a tapered diameter 0.156″” at its widest point, and was machined to a 32 RMS finish. We drilled both straight and angular micro holes using our EDM equipment, and then deburred to remove all traces of fine machining particulate before shipping to our customer in the veterinary industry.
We completed this 400 unit project on time, on budget, and with the outstanding quality that has earned us our reputation for accuracy and reliability.
